Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) originated over 5,000 years ago and has spread throughout Asia from China to Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Taiwan, Tibet, Vietnam and many other places, while continuously advancing. Today, TCM is no longer only popular in Asia but has become a well-known alternative therapy in most Western countries, being used by all types of people for a variety of health conditions.

Preventive Treatment of Disease

"The sages of antiquity did not treat those who were already sick, but those who were not sick. When a disease has already broken out and is only then treated, would that not be just as late as to wait for thirst before digging a well, or to wait to go into battle before casting weapons?"

Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses more on keeping patients healthy instead of treating sicknesses once they develop. Modern research studies have substantiated acupuncture's role in disease prevention. Preventive TCM treatment plays such a tune-up role to tone internal organs or to prevent minor annoyances from becoming major problems. Acupuncture, herbs, and dietary therapies exist to help you make the transition from imbalance to well-being both possible and comfortable. Once we know the nature of your imbalance, we also suggest foods, habits, exercises, etc. that help to slow down or stop the disease process in its tracks.

Chinese medicine approach to health is encompassing. You are not just your body. You are spirit, emotions, energy, light, bones, muscles, etc. They are all part of you and all must be maintained so that you remain healthy. Every aspect matters. Any illness that manifests is seen as a symptom of a deeper problem, and that is what we are trying to solve.

At Nine Life Land Acupuncture, we evaluate your health history and focus on symptoms holistically. Our main goal is to provide you with the best treatment plan possible so that we can help you get your life back on track. We provide individually tailored treatment plans and strive to see the big picture of your current health situation. We use natural treatment modalities that include Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Remedies and Formulas, Moxibustion (also known as Moxa Therapy), Auricular Therapy (Ear Acupuncture), Cupping (Suction/Heat Therapy), Chinese Therapeutic Massage ( Acupressure) and fire therapy, etc.  We also try our best to give you a pleasant and relaxing experience at our clinic, because your comfort and wellness are very important to us.

Thank you for visiting our web site and you are more than welcome to ask any questions you may have via phone or email. We wish you peace and wellness.

What we need to know after having an acupuncture treatment?

1. Rest and relaxation are required after acupuncture treatment, as your energy is re-directed by acupuncture and it will remain healing-process in the next hour or longer. Proper rest would enhance the physical and emotional restoration process.
